Polyglyceryl-4 Hemp Seedate (and) Caprylyl/?Capryl Glucoside (and) Aqua. Galehemp® OW by Acme-Hardesty is PEG-free, non-ionic, O/W emulsifier. It is derived from hemp seed oil. It is an alternative to polyetho­xylated emulsifiers in terms of performance. It possesses calming properties for inflammation and irritation while enhancing new cell generation. It moisturizes without clogging pores as well as softens and relieves sensitive or irritated skin. It is designed for less viscous, fluid formulations and gel creams. It leaves a pleasant light, silky sensation even when they contain a high quantity of oily substances. It is ideal for O/W emulsions, used in the cold process. It is very easy to manage when introduced into the lipophilic phase of the emulsion which can vary 6-20%. In the aqueous phase, it is usually introduced with a thickener. It offers excellent texture, stability, moisturization and emollient properties. It exhibits a refreshing sensation on application. Galehemp® OW is used in face and body creams. It is Vegan-certified and COSMOS approved, making it ideal for clean beauty formulations.
