Glyceryl Stearate. Capmul® GMS-50K by Abitec Corporation acts as a W/O emulsifier, lubricant, opacifier and bulking agent. It is vegetable based and prepared by the esterification of glycerol or propylene glycol with selected fatty acids or via glycerolysis of triglycerides. It provides light silky-smooth and non-greasy feel on the skin. Capmul® GMS-50K finds application in formulating lotions, creams and other cosmetic products.
