STEARETH-2 (PEG-2 Stearyl Ether). Acconon® SA-2 by ABITEC Corporation is used in the formulation of cosmetic O/W or W/O emulsions in combination with other emulsifiers. Has an HLB value of 4.9 and can form stable emulsions over a wide pH range. Suitable for the preparation of antiperspirants. Acconon® SA-2 can be used in foundations, aftershave lotions, baby shampoos, eyeliners and makeup bases. Also used in cleansing products such as cold creams and cleansing lotions.
