Andisil® SP 4409

PEG-9 Dimethicone. Andisil® SP 4409 by AB Specialty Silicones is a formaldehyde-free, 50% concentrate, W/O or W/Si emulsifier. It provides soft, silky feel to the end product. In skin care products, it offers cushion, skin protectant, moisturizing, film forming & wetting properties, organic compatibility, wash-off resistance and water repellency. Whereas in hair care products, it displays dilution stability and improves wet combing. Andisil® SP 4409 finds application in skin care & make-up formulations, rinse off conditioners & styling aids and W/O formulations where D5 is not acceptable. Also, used in antiperspirant and deodorant, creams & lotions, serums, sun care, shaving, shampoos and rinse-off conditioners. The shelf life of this ingredient is 12 months.
