Dimethicone (and) Dimethicone/Polyglycerin-3 Crosspolymer. Andisil® CP 3020 by AB Specialty Silicones is silicone elastomer, W/O and W/Si emulsifier and thickener. It is a mixture of a dimethicone crosspolymer and carrier (dimethicone). It imparts soft, silky feel and provides a quick breaking effect. This ingredient offers good compatibility with other silicones. In skin care products, it offers ease of formulation, emulsification and spreadability. It is suitable for clear formulations. Recommended for use when PEG free formulations are required/desired. Andisil® CP 3020 is used in antiperspirant/ deodorants, creams & lotions, color cosmetics and sun care products. The shelf life of this ingredient is 12 months.
