Triacontanyl PVP. AakoFilm PA-30 by Aako acts as a film-forming and pigment-dispersing agent. It shows long-lasting water repellency and rub resistance. It also acts as a suspending agent for sunscreen pigments such as titanium dioxide and zinc oxide. It can be used to make sand-free formulations. It is able to boost the SPF of sunscreen formulations.
- It is amphiphilic and will usually enhance the stability of emulsions.
- It can be premixed with pigments or oil soluble UV-filters for easy incorporation.
- It is used in color cosmetics, APDO sticks, skin-, hair care, sunscreen creams and lotions or anhydrous formulations.
- It has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of production.
