VP/Eicosene Copolymer. AakoFilm PA-20 by Aako is a light colored solid film-forming and pigment-dispersing agent. It also acts as a suspending agent for sunscreen pigments such as titanium dioxide and zinc oxide. It shows long-lasting water repellency and rub resistance. It is able to boost the SPF of sun screen and can be used in cold-process formulations.
- It easily dissolves in many emollients and liquid oily UV filters.
- It is amphiphilic and enhances the stability of emulsions.
- It is used in suncare products like long-lasting sunscreen creams and lotions or anhydrous formulations, color cosmetics, skin- and hair care products.
