Benzophenone-4. Uvasorb S5 by 3V Sigma is an effective sunscreen agent with broad-spectrum absorbance ranging between 270 and 350 nm. It is also used as a light stabilizer for water-based products. It can be used in combination with oil-soluble UV-filters to boost sun-screening properties especially in oil-in-water emulsions. Uvasorb S5 is used in sun-care, skin-care, shower gels, shampoos, soaps, hair-care and shaving products.
