Thickener and suspending agent. Dispersions characterized by low viscosity but a suspending ability higher than other carbomers. Choice for the stabilization of fluid emulsions and suspensions. Can be used in ionic solutions and surfactants systems. Recommended use level: 0.1-1.5% Disperse slowly in water and neutralize with an appropriate base such as inorganic bases or organic amines. Avoid bivalent bases. Dispersion should be made by slow addition of the polymer. Turbulent agitation should be avoided. The addition of a water-soluble UV-absorber can help for preventing polymer degradation. Can be dispersed in the oil phase obtaining free flowing dispersions with concentration up to 30%.
