Sodium Carbomer. PNC 400 by 3V Sigma is a pre-neutralized polyacrylate that can be used as rheology modifier, thickener, stabilizer and suspending agent. It disperses in water & in water and alcohol blend to obtain gels. During the preparation of emulsions, it can be dispersed in the oil, in the water phase or directly in the emulsion. The addition of a water-soluble UV-absorber can help for preventing polymer degradation.
