3M™ CM-111

Amorphous Magnesium Silicate. 3M™ CM-111 by 3M acts as an texture enhancer and filler/ extender. Its spherical shape creates a low friction, ball-bearing effect and gives silky-soft and luxurious feel. The ceramic composition makes it non-absorbent, to maintain spreadability and help prevent formulations from drying out. It creates a soft focus effect that can help optically blur skin lines and wrinkles, without creating a mask-like appearance. It allows higher pigment loading in products such as cream powder. 3M™ CM-111 is used in lipsticks, pressed and loose powders, mascara and hand lotions.
