This Broad Spectrum, Water Resistant, SPF 25+ Daily Facial Moisturizer is an elegant, light and water-in-oil (W/O) formulation. It spreads well, covers evenly and has built-in water resistance, enhanced using two emollients with excellent barrier characteristics. It combines both organic and inorganic sunscreen actives and allows for high SPF with relatively low level of active. It achieves protection beyond broad spectrum with a critical wavelength of 377.8 nm. It features Zemea® Propanediol which keeps water-soluble actives in solution through the evaporation process when the product is applied to the skin.

Category overviewAvailable as clear to slightly viscous liquids or dispersible polymers, waterproofing agents form a hydrophobic barrier. They are used in makeup, sunscreens, and hair styling products to enhance durability.
Popular INCI ingredients in this segment include Trimethylsiloxysilicate and Acrylates Copolymer. Breathable, non-occlusive waterproofing is in demand. Sub-types include flexible film-formers for comfort and rigid polymers for extreme wear. They must meet film-forming safety regulations.

This smooth and light feeling sunscreen cream contains DERMACRYL® 79 polymer and STRUCTURE® XL starch. DERMACRYL 79 polymer film forming polymer provides water and rub-off resistance to this formulation while STRUCTURE XL starch provides emulsion stabilization and a smooth feel. The final formulation is in-vivo tested, very water resistant SPF 30.
