Cosmetics & Personal Care Formulations with Solubilizers

This baby shampoo features CROVOL™ A-70 and CRODATERIC™ CAS 50, naturally derived surfactants that give this formula its mildness. Besides its ability to reduce the irritation of surfactant/shampoo systems, CROVOL A-70 is also used here as a wetting agent and fragrance solubilizer. CRODATERIC CAS 50 is a mild foam booster and produces a creamy lather. CROTHIX™ is used to thicken the formula. Using a fragrance with a 'baby-fresh' smell adds to its appeal.

Self emulsifing Cetearyl Alcohol, PEG 40 Castor Oil, Stearalkonium Chloride contributes conditioning properties, with Lauryl Laurate contributing silky skin feel.

Florasun 90, Floramac Macadamia Oil and Floraesters are all as stable as castor oil and provide an elegant skin feel on the lips.

Intense Beauty Hair Treatment Mask will provide detangling as well as restore moisture and impart luminous shine to the hair due to the combination of SOFTCAT™ SX 1300X Conditioning Polymer and POLYOX™ WSR N60 K Sensory Enhancer. DPG Humectant will provide water absorption and retention. A formulation by Dow.

Wash Jelly is a transparent, fun colored wash for hair and body with mild and foaming properties. Shea Butter based ingredients provides good viscosity and mildness, incorporating the unsaponifables from Shea. Shea Butter ingredients moisturize and condition the skin and hair and Lipex® 102 E-75 improves the viscosity and can acts as a perfume solubilizer. A formulation by AAK Personal Care.

Sulfate-Free Shower Foam is sulfate-free shower foam that smoothens skin. It is used with foaming device. AKYPO® RLM 45CA has solubilizing properties and is very mild for the skin. LEVENOL® H&B has rinse application and increases the conditioning effect. KAO SOFCARE® GP-1 improves foam generation and shine. A formulation by Kao Chemicals.

Miracle Sensation Sun Lotion (SPF 30) is a non-sticky, sand adhesion minimizing, and water resistant (80 minutes) SPF 30 sun lotion. Avalure™ Flex-6 polymer works as the sole O/W emulsifier, delivering efficient and robust emulsion stabilization. Its excellent film-forming properties offer high water resistance (80 minutes) with a soft, non-greasy afterfeel. Schercemol™ DIS ester optimizes organic sunscreen solubilization without a greasy afterfeel while Matmarine™ Blue Ingredient reduces sebum levels to minimize imperfections such as spots, enlarged pores, and acne. Produces a clear, high foaming, low color, and low odor bath and shower gel. PEG-150 Pentaerythrityl Tetrastearate is used to provide the body and viscosity seen in the formula, and PEG-60 Almond Glycerides is used to solubilize the fragrance and maintain the clarity of the product.

• VANATURAL - It acts as a stabilizer, emulsion optimizer and rheology modifier. It stabilizes emulsions against separation, particle settling and hard packing. It provides thickening and the absorptive properties in masks and poultices. It provides a silky, tack-free feel in topical preparations. Reduces the slippery or sticky feel of water soluble gums and polymers. 
• Eumulgin^® SG - It acts as a strong anionic O/W emulsifier. Used in cosmetic O/W emulsions.
