Solabia to acquire Mibelle Biochemistry from Persán

Solabia Group, a global player in biotechnology-driven active ingredients for health and beauty industries, announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Mibelle Biochemistry, from Persán, a multinational and European market player in the areas of home and personal care.
Mibelle Biochemistry is one of the renowned Swiss innovators specialized in the development and production of unique, high-performance active ingredients for the cosmetics, nutraceutical, and food industries.
Strengthens Solabia’s role in natural and high-performance active ingredients
Founded in 1991 in Switzerland as part of the Mibelle Group, Mibelle Biochemistry offers a science‑backed portfolio spanning skin beauty, healthy aging, hair care, and cognitive support, with distribution in more than 50 countries. The company is recognized globally for translating nature’s concepts into effective and innovative ingredients.
The acquisition of Mibelle Biochemistry strengthens Solabia’s role in natural and high-performance active ingredients by bringing together two science-driven organizations with highly complementary expertise in advanced biotechnology, plant-based science, and sustainable innovation. Customers will benefit from a broader portfolio while continuing to rely on the known Swiss‑made quality of Mibelle Biochemistry.

The transaction is expected to close in the coming months. Financial terms were not disclosed.
