Solabia completes acquisition of Mibelle Biochemistry

Solabia Group announced the completion of its acquisition of Mibelle Biochemistry, the Swiss specialist in science-backed active ingredients for the cosmetics and nutraceutical industries, from Persán, under the terms announced on 19 February 2026.
Strengthening its position in science-backed ingredients
According to Solabia, this closing marks an important step in the Group's growth strategy, strengthening its position as a global player in biotechnology-driven, natural, and high-performance active ingredients. The supplier reports that by combining Solabia's international footprint and industrial expertise with Mibelle Biochemistry's recognized innovation capabilities, the Group will further expand its portfolio and accelerate the development of differentiated solutions for beauty and wellbeing markets.
Founded in Switzerland in 1991, Mibelle Biochemistry is known worldwide for its work in plant stem cell technology and modern biotechnology, with a portfolio covering skin beauty, healthy aging, hair care, and cognitive support. According to the supplier, its actives are distributed in more than 50 countries.
