Safic-Alcan acquires Deveraux Specialties to expand US reach

Safic-Alcan, a major distributor of specialty chemicals, announced that it has acquired 100% of Deveraux Specialties, LLC, a specialty ingredients distributor serving the cosmetic and personal care industry in the United States.

Strengthens national footprint and capabilities
The acquisition will be carried out through ChemSpec USA, Safic-Alcan's existing US entity, and marks a significant step in the Group's strategy to expand its Personal Care platform across North America. Deveraux Specialties and ChemSpec are expected to merge within the coming year, creating a broader national footprint with enhanced capabilities and a strengthened sales team.
