At this year’s in-cosmetics Global, Imerys, the world’s leading supplier of mineral solutions for personal care invited customers to discover its ‘Imerys in Paris’ concept!
The French capital demands a flawless, effortless beauty routine. At in-cosmetics, the ImerCare® teams invited cosmetics customers to achieve the Parisian look with on-the-go mineral formulations designed for the modern nomad, combining high-performance minerals with a French touch.
Highlights recycled calcium carbonate and talc-like mica alternatives
The star formulations on display included:
- Take ‘n’ Brush: A nomad toothpaste stick formulated with brand new ImerCare® Oral-3C.
- StayMat BB Stick: Formulated with ImerCare® MicaSilk to keep skin flawless and shine-free all day long.
- Silky Ocean Perfector Powder: For a touch of blue with ImerCare® MicaSilk to revive dull skin and reveal a perfectly smooth complexion.
- Matte Allure Lipstick: Enriched with ImerCare® 400D for the ultimate French red in a creamy, matte, and non-sticky finish.
The formulations are based on two new products - including one very recent innovation, were launched at the show:
- NEW ImerCare® Oral-3C for toothpastes derived from UL-certified recycled ore: ImerCare® Oral-3C is a brand new natural ground calcium carbonate, specifically designed for gentle-action toothpaste formulations. Sourced from Imerys’ Carrara quarry in Italy, ImerCare® Oral-3C is a UL-certified, natural ground calcium carbonate (GCC), with 100% recycled mineral content, which combines controlled abrasiveness, whiteness and opacity to provide a gentle, efficient cleaning action on teeth. ImerCare® Oral-3C off ers a natural alternative to synthetic whitening pigments, such as titanium dioxide, meeting growing demand for cleaner, safer, and more sustainable formulations.
- ImerCare® MicaSilk - A French mica as soft as talc: Produced through an innovative production process, ImerCare® MicaSilk imparts a ‘talc-like’ soft, creamy texture to pressed and loose make-up powders, along with a subtle combination of transparency and smoothness. ImerCare® MicaSilk demonstrates excellent cohesion in pressed powders, whilst its high oil absorption capacity provides a long-lasting matte effect. Ideal for pressed powders, loose powders, eye shadows, and blush formulations, it offers a suitable alternative for formulators seeking talc-like softness.
