IMCD to unveil formulations for post-aesthetic procedure care at in-cosmetics Global
Last update on Apr 10, 2026
IMCD Group ("IMCD" or "Company"), a global partner for the distribution and formulation of specialty chemicals and ingredients, is heading to in-cosmetics Global 2026, 14-16 April, Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, Stand 3J60, with seven formulations designed to support post-aesthetic procedure care, one of the fastest-growing frontiers in modern skincare and hair care.*
At the Makeup Bar, visitors are invited to experience a full-face makeup - designed in IMCD’s Color Cosmetics Center of Excellence in Milan, Italy - to bring formulation performance to life and featuring a gel lip tint, cooling stick concealer, soft-focus highlighter and melting eyeshadow stick.
Post-procedure beauty
Aesthetic procedures are no longer a niche. Nearly 38 million treatments were performed globally in 2024 alone, a 42.5% rise since 2020, and first-timers are flooding in: in February 2026, #FirstTimeBotox content reached a peak of over 477,000 weekly views on TikTok, with engagement up more than 12,000% week-on-week.*
The upshot for beauty brands and formulators? Skincare can no longer afford to be an afterthought to procedures. It needs to be part of the treatment strategy itself, supporting skin before, during recovery, and long after, to extend results and reduce the interval between interventions.
Aestheticae Curae: 7 formulations for post-procedure skincare and hair care
At the heart of IMCD's stand is Aestheticae Curae (Latin for care in the service of beauty), a formulation kit built around one idea: that great results don't end when the procedure is over.
The kit, to be unveiled at in-cosmetics global 2026, comprises seven exclusive formulations, spanning skincare, hair care, sun care, toiletries and color cosmetics, each designed to support recovery and/or lock in results after aesthetic procedures:
- Calmantia Cutis: Soothing, anti-inflammatory cream with a cooling effect, suitable for use after any facial or body procedure
- Structura Dermis: Collagen-boosting nano-emulsion serum designed to support botox effects
- Delicata Universalis: Ultra-gentle cleanser with a soft, creamy foam suitable for post-procedure skin
- Volumen Laborium: Plumping creamy lipstick with anti-hyaluronidase and collagen-boosting actions, suitable for after lip filler
- Regeneratio Capitis: Soothing aqueous spray to help protect new hair and support regrowth post-transplant
- Lenis Scalpium: Foaming shampoo with strong humectant action to help comfort the scalp post-transplant
- Integritas Solaris: Fast-absorbing, high-protection sunscreen promoting the biological markers involved in the natural healing process of the skin
The formulations have been developed by IMCD’s experts in its Hair Care & Toiletries Center of Excellence in Milton Keynes, UK, and Skin & Sun Care Center of Excellence in Paris, France.
From peptides and biomimetic lipids to ceramide boosting systems and targeted actives, these formulas are grounded in the science of skin and hair recovery and designed to perform long after the procedure itself.
Irene Cantos, global director of IMCD Beauty & Personal Care, comments, "Post-procedure skincare is shifting from a niche concern to a mainstream opportunity. Consumers are more informed, more proactive, and they want products that genuinely support their results, not just soothe them in the short term. The Aestheticae Curae kit represents our response to this: rigorous science, smart formulation, and a real understanding of what skin needs to recover well and maintain aesthetic outcomes over time."
