Origin

Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate is made through the esterification of lactic acid with stearic acid, followed by neutralization with sodium hydroxide. In this process, lactic acid and stearic acid are reacted to form stearoyl lactylate, which is then neutralized to produce Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate.
