What is POLYQUATERNIUM-73 used for?

Polyquaternium-73 helps in cleansing through its foaming properties. It is used in hair and skin also for its strong antibacterial activity at very low concentration. It is found in facial cleansers, shampoos, whitening products, hair treatment products. Hair serum, detanglers, styling mousse/foam.
  • Skin care: It functions as an anti-acne ingredient due to its anti-bacterial properties. It also helps form a film on the skin
  • Hair care: It leaves hair easy to comb, supple, soft and shiny and/or gives volume, lightness and shine. It allows to control the style of the hair

Polyquaternium-73 is a polymeric quaternary ammonium salt consisting of monomers of propyltrimonium chloride acrylamide, ethyltrimonium chloride methacrylate and dimethylacrylamide.
