What is COCAMIDE MIPA used for?

Cocamide MIPA is an emulsifier, and surfactant that controls viscosity, boosts foam, and also helps in stabilizing the product.

  • Hair care: It is found in shampoos, hair dyes, conditioners, dandruff treatments. In shampoo, it works as a surfactant and foaming agent
  • Toiletries: Body washes, bubble bath products, exfoliants/scrubs, cleansers, and liquid hand soaps

Origin

Cocamide MIPA is obtained by reacting coconut oil with monoisopropanolamine.
