Carapa Guaianensis Seed Oil is a medicinal oil native to Brazil where it has been used for ages as an insect repellant as well as to treat certain skin conditions. Recently, this ingredient was introduced in the personal care industry and has been in vogue since then. Alternatively, traditional methods involve heating the seeds to release the oil, followed by pressing. In its raw form, Carapa Guaianensis Seed Oil is a bitter oil with a light yellowish to brown color.
