Although its texture is smooth-looking, this white cream is gritty -intentionally so because, as an exfoliant, it is used to help remove scaling skin caused by dryness. Upon use dry skin cells are sloughed off, leaving skin with a smooth afterfeel. Based on Emulsifying Wax NF and Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Cetearyl Alcohol, this formula is an elegant cream which achieves a uniquely rich quality from the combination of these outstanding emulsifiers. Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Cetearyl Alcoholhelps to give the emulsion density and provides the cream with its smooth appearance. Pentaerythrityl Tetracaprylate/Caprate is an emollient which has cushion properties.
