Sun Care: Sunless Tanning Lotion

This sunless tanning formula is based on dihydroxyacetone (DHA) and Croda's walnut extract, Peanut Oil; Mineral Oil; Walnut Extract. DHA is the active ingredient and reacts with the keratin in the skin to produce a tan in 3-4 hours. Peanut Oil; Mineral Oil; Walnut Extract and PPG-2 Myristyl Ether Propionate are used as spreading agents to allow the tan to develop evenly on the skin. Adjusting the pH of the formula is not needed since the stability of DHA is best between pH 4-6.
