Matte Blush for Darker Skin Tones is a pressed powder blush consisting of a carrier (filler), colorants, texture modifiers (often called specialty fillers) and binders (to compact the product into a breakage resistant cake). This formulation base is typical of many of today's pressed powder formulations. Products designed for darker skin require less opacity and more intense color. As a result, a lower level of bismuth oxychloride and higher levels of the iron oxides and red 30 are used. A formulation by Hallstar.
