Metallic coatings are prized for their premium aesthetic appeal, yet achieving a uniform, brilliant finish in waterborne systems remains one of the industry’s greatest challenges. Poor pigment orientation often results in inconsistent appearance, diminished brilliance, and compromised performance, especially in demanding industrial applications.
This webinar introduces Elementis’ cutting-edge waterborne metallic pigment orientation technologies, designed to overcome these limitations. Among several technologies and approaches to be presented, the synergy between THIXATROL® 5050W and RHEOLATE® 290 will stand out for delivering superior metallic orientation, optimized rheology, and exceptional final coating quality. Our experts will share practical insights, formulation strategies, and real-world performance data to enable next-level metallic effects while meeting sustainability and efficiency targets. Whether the objective is the development of high-performance auto-OEM coatings or product differentiation in a competitive market, the session will provide technical knowledge and tools for achieving outstanding results.
