Levasil® CC301 by Nouryon acts as a surface siccative agent for water-borne coating systems. is a water-based epoxy silane-modified colloidal silica dispersion. The colloidal silica particles migrate to the surface of the paint during film formation inducing enrichment of silica, which in turn leads to improved film properties. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;">
<li> It induces an extension of the open time for thickeners such as HM-PAPE, EHEC, HASE but the degree of extension varies between the thickening agents. </li>
<li> One pack sol-silicate paints based on it are characterized by long term stability and enable concentrated formulations up to solid contents of 50 %wt. </li>

It has improved water-, chemical- and dirt resistance. It is used as binder, coating and surface treatment. The silica dispersion is sterically stabilized and the amorphous silica particles carry a negative surface charge. It shows smooth, spherical shape and are present in a narrow particle size distribution. It is surface modified with an epoxy silane. Levasil® CC151 has a shelf life of at least of 18 months. Levasil® 300/30 by Nouryon is sodium or ammonia anionic colloidal silica. It has good abrasion resistance. Levasil® 300/30 is used in paints, floor wax and polishes and printing inks. Levasil® 200E/20 by Nouryon is anti-blocking agent. It is a deionized modified colloidal silica. Levasil® 200E/20 by Nouryon is used in metal coatings. Levasil® 50/80 by Nouryon is a sodium or ammonia-based anionic colloidal silica-based dispersing agent. It is an aqueous dispersion containing discrete amorphous silica particles. Levasil® 50/80 is suitable for use in minerals. Levasil® 200/40 by Nouryon is a sodium or ammonia stabilized anionic colloidal silica-based anti-blocking agent. It is used in polymer emulsions.
