PropylTex® 50 by Micro Powders is a tough, high molecular weight, extra coarse particle-sized micronized polypropylene wax. It is effective for adding texture, structure and non-slip properties. It is applicable in water-based, solvent-based, industrial and consumer paints including masonry, stucco-, architectural wall and trim paints, stains, sealers and varnishes, wood and floor coatings. PropylTex® 140S has a recommended dosage level of 3.0-10.0% on total formula weight. Provides gloss reduction with improved burnish resistance vs. silica and adds a medium texture effect to the coating surface. It does not lower COF and is suitable for anti-skid surfaces. It is a high molecular weight PP that gives good durability and adds texture in low bake (Low E) powder coatings.
