Micronized synthetic wax. Has been formulated to reduce or eliminate wax defoamer kickout and improve dispersion stability in aqueous coatings as well as inks. Is a lower cost alternative to the more expensive micronized polyethylene waxes and will impart a higher degree of lubricity, lower COF readings as well as excellent rub resistance. Used in water reducible flexographic and carton inks, water reducible stains as well as paints. It is SARA, TSCA and REACH registered. Aquawax 214VF by Micro Powders is an oxidized fischer-tropsch wax. It offers improved rub resistance and surface slip. Imparts a higher degree of lubricity and lower COF. It is an economical alternative to polyethylene waxes. Designed for water-based wood-, industrial coatings (plastic and metal), architectural wall and trim paints and printing inks and OPV's (flexo and gravure). Aquawax 214VF has a recommended additional level of 0.5-2.0%.
