AquaBead® 916

by Micro Powders

AquaBead® 916 by Micro Powders is a specially formulated hydrophobically modified synthetic wax suitable for water- and solvent-based coatings. It has been formulated with harder, higher molecular weight polymers for long-lasting water repellency in both penetrating as well as non-penetrating systems. It Provides a uniform matting effectand long term moisture repellency for clear varnish stains. In combination with silica, exhibits improved weather resistance. AquaBead® 916 finds application in wood-, industrial coatings (metal and masonry), automotive polishes, stains, sealers and varnishes. Recommended additional level of 1.0-4.0%.

AquaBead® 519

by Micro Powders

AquaBead® 519 by Micro Powders is a specially formulated hydrophobically modified synthetic wax suitable for water- and solvent-based coatings. Imparts long-lasting water repellency and contains lower molecular weight polymers for faster water beading. In combination with silica, exhibits improved weather resistance. AquaBead® 519 finds application in wood-, industrial coatings (metal and masonry), automotive polishes, stains, sealers and varnishes. Recommended additional level of 1.0-4.0%.

AquaBead® 525E

by Micro Powders

AquaBead® 525E by Micro Powders is an anionic paraffin/carnauba wax emulsion. It is suitable for long-term water repellency, weather and moisture resistance. Provides excellent initial water beading, surface slip and anti-blocking properties. The stabilization contributes to immediate hydrophobicity and does not reduce gloss or clarity. It is used in water-based industrial (masonry), wood coatings, architectural wall and trim paints, stains, sealers and varnishes and automotive polishes. AquaBead® 525E has a recommended additional level of 3.0-10.0%.

AquaBead® 525E-AM

by Micro Powders

AquaBead® 525E-AM by Micro Powders is anionic paraffin and carnauba wax emulsion imparting weather and moisture resistance. Provides excellent initial water beading and long-term water repellency. It offers surface slip and anti-blocking properties and does not reduce gloss or clarity. It is applicable in water-based industrial (masonry), wood coatings, automotive polishes, architectural wall and trim paints, stains, sealers and varnishes. AquaBead® 525E-AM has a recommended addition level of 3.0-10.0%.

AquaBead® 270E

by Micro Powders

AquaBead® 270E by Micro Powders is a blend of anionic paraffin and polyethylene wax emulsion. It provides excellent initial, long-lasting water beading and doesn't reduce gloss or clarity. It offers water repellency, weather- and moisture resistance. It is used in water-based industrial coatings (including masonry), stains, sealers and varnishes, wood coatings and automotive polishes. AquaBead® 270E has a recommended dosage level of 3.0-10.0%.

AquaBead® 325E

by Micro Powders

AquaBead® 325E by Micro Powders is a high-solid anionic paraffin wax emulsion. Provides excellent initial, long-lasting water beading and repellency as well as weather and moisture resistance. It is ideal for improving moisture vapor transmission rate (MVTR). In sound-deadening systems, it reduces water absorption and prevents cracking in thick layers. It is applicable in water-based industrial (masonry), wood coatings, stains, sealers and varnishes, plasters, architectural paints with higher film thicknesses and automotive polishes. AquaBead® 325E has recommended additional level of 1.0-10.0%.

AquaBead® 425E

by Micro Powders

AquaBead® 425E by Micro Powders is a large particle size anionic carnauba wax emulsion. It provides water beading effect as well as weather-, block- and mar resistance. Imparts soil release, increased surface gloss and slip properties. The stabilization contributes to immediate hydrophobicity and excellent water resistance. It is used for water-based industrial coatings (masonry), wood- and seed coatings, automotive polishes, stains, sealers and varnishes. It is also suitable for printing inks and OPV's (including flexo and gravure). AquaBead® 425E has an recommended additional level of 3.0-10.0%.
