Carbocure™ 7000 by Lubrizol is a low viscous, liquid matting agent designed for radiation curable coatings. Exhibits improved water beading capabilities, stable viscosity and excellent tactile properties. Provides a smooth, uniformly matte appearance with a soft touch and low haze. Provides for easy handling of the finished printed product, surface smoothness and wood grain enhancement. Suitable for high efficiency production environments as it is solvent-free and cross-linkable. It can be incorporated into the coating at any stage of the process by using low speed mixers. Compatible with polyester, epoxy, polyether and urethane. It is ideal for high-end printing inks and UV coatings. Recommended dosage level of Carbocure™ 7000 is 3-10%. It has a shelf life of 360 days. Polyethylene dispersion. Designed to provide rub resistance and slip for energy curing systems. Possesses large particle size polyethylene. It offers environmental friendly alternatives to solvent and water-based phenolic resins and non-woven binder applications. It imparts more flexibility and elongation to the substrate. It shows high solvent-, oil- and water resistance. The self-crosslinking mechanism incorporated into these polymer emulsions promote curing at moderate processing time and temperature, eliminating the need for additional crosslinking agents. Carbocure™ TSR-72 is designed for performance coatings.
