Preventol® A 14-D

Preventol® A 14-D by LANXESS is a dry film preservative based on diuron, carbendazim and octylisothiazolinones. This water-based dispersion exhibits broad-spectrum activity against algae and fungi which can destroy surface coatings. It possesses good flow and handling properties. It has low degree of water solubility, therefore offering good leaching resistance and long service time. It is compatible with high-density polyethylene (HDPE). Preventol® A 14-D is suitable for paints and coatings used for architectural products, finishes and special purpose coatings. Recommended dosage level is 0.15-2%. The shelf life is 12 months. Preventol® M 78-D

Preventol® M 78-D by LANXESS is a dry film preservative based on carbendazim (BCM) and 3-iodo-2-propynyl butyl carbamate (IPBC). It offers fungal protection in paints, wood stains as well as masonry-, roof- and paper coatings. It is also used in inks. It is solvent-, VOC- & formaldehyde-free. It can be easily incorporated into most of the finished products. It ensures long-term protection in formulations. Preventol® M 78-D is particularly suited for low-emission interior & exterior paints and building materials. It is compatible with high-density polyethylene (HDPE). The shelf life is 12 months. Preventol® D 7 LT

Preventol® D 7 LT by LANXESS is a versatile, easy to use, low viscosity, in-can preservative based on monovalently stabilized isothiazolinones. It offers broad spectrum of activity against bacteria, including formaldehyde-resistant species, fungi, yeast & algae. This additive possesses good compatibility. It is used for the preservation of aqueous coatings. It is stable over pH range of 2.5-9.0. Preventol® D 7 LT has a shelf life of 1 year.
