ALKONAT® L 20 by Indorama Ventures Public Company is a lauryl alcohol 2 ethylene oxide (EO). It is an excellent surface tension reducer which is generally unaffected by hard water ions. Acts as a non-ionic surfactant, dispersing agent as well as wetting agent. It maintains its chemical as well as physical stability in alkaline as well as acid medium, and under varying temperature conditions. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;">

In this the hydrophobic part of the molecule comes from nonylphenol and the hydrophilic part from the ethylene oxide chain. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;">
<li>It increases the degree of ethoxylation, and the hydrophilic nature of the molecule (higher HLB), which alters solubility in water, foaming power, wettability and detergency. </li>
<li>It prevents pigment floating. </li>
