ALKONAT® L 90

ALKONAT® L 90 by Indorama Ventures Public Company is a lauryl alcohol 9 ethylene oxide (EO)-based non-ionic surfactant, dispersing agent, humectant as well as wetting agent. Compatible with a wide range of solvents and non-ionic, anionic, amphoteric as well as cationic surfactants. It maintains its chemical as well as physical stability in alkaline as well as acid medium, and under varying temperature conditions. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"> <li>It is an excellent surface tension reducer which is generally unaffected by hard water ions. </li> <li>It is derived from the lauryl alkyl chain and its hydrophilic character is dependent on the ethylene oxide chain. </li> <li>It has lipophilic nature and 41% carbon derived from renewable resources. </li> <li>By increasing the degree of ethoxylation, the hydrophilic nature of the molecule is increased (higher HLB) modifying its solubility in water along with other properties such as foaming, emulsification, detergency and wettability. </li> <li>Used in polymerization in emulsions, pigment concentrates, color pastes, water-based paints and printing inks. </li> <li>ALKONAT® L 90 is designed for varnishes, construction paint and pigment dispersion applications. </li></ul>
