Versamid® 125 BR

Versamid® 125 BR by Huntsman is a medium-viscosity, reactive polyamide curing agent based on dimerized fatty acid and polyamines. It is designed for use with solid or liquid epoxy resins in tough, chemical-resistant thermoset coating applications that cure at room temperature. Versamid® 125 BR and epoxy resin systems are generally harder and cure more rapidly than Versamid® 140 systems. It can be blended with Versamid® G 250 US, a fatty amido amine resin, to provide a range of viscosities, cure speeds, and resistance properties. It is recommended for primers, maintenance coatings and enamel paint formulations. It has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of manufacture.

Versamid® 140

Versamid® 140 by Huntsman is a curing agent. It is a medium to low viscosity, reactive polyamide designed for use with solid or liquid epoxy resins to provide tough thermoset coating applications that cure at room temperature. <br><ul style="padding-left: 40px;"> <li> Versamid® 140 and epoxy resin coating systems are more chemical and solvent-resistant than Versamid® 115 systems and generally lower in viscosity than Versamid® 125 systems. </li><li> It offers a unique combination of hardness and flexibility, chemical resistance, and solvent resistance.</li><li>It shows good resistance against aliphatic hydrocarbons, lubricants, alkaline solutions, diluted acids, atmospheric agents and water. </li><li> It is compatible with polyamine polymers, and features corrosion resistance and excellent adhesion. </li><li> It is recommended for primers, maintenance coatings and high solids enamel paint formulations.</li> <li>It has a shelf life of 1 year.</li></ul>

Versamid® 115 by Huntsman is a high-viscosity, reactive polyamide curing agent designed for use with solid or liquid epoxy resins in flexible and resistant thermoset coating applications.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li> It enables room-temperature curing and provides excellent resistance properties, strong adhesion, superior corrosion resistance, and resistance to solvents and chemicals. </li> <li>Versamid® 115 offers a long pot life with short tack-free times.</li> <li>It is recommended for maintenance coatings, enamel paints, and chemical-resistant coatings. </li><li>It has a shelf life of 24 months.
