Fluffy-grade carbon black pigment (lampblack). Possesses a blue tone, relatively low oil absorption, very high jetness index relative to other carbon blacks and sufficient purity. Exhibits easy dispersibility and very good coloring or tinting. Is conductive to electricity. Shows stability to sunlight and UV radiation. Offers alkali resistant. Contains no calcium sulfate. Used for paints, colorants, and inks. Carbon Black C-391 by Huntsman is fluffy-grade carbon black pigment used in coatings and inks. Is of sufficient purity for use in articles that come in contact with food (21CFR), but not suitable for the direct coloration of pet food or cosmetics.
