Ara® Cool 1034 XW 90 by Huntsman is a modified, SVHC-free, Mannich-base type hardener. It is designed for applications requiring outstanding hardness development in combination with long pot life. It provided high reactivity at low temperatures to corrosion protection coatings for pre-treated steel surfaces. Exhibits extremely long pot life versus outstanding low temperature reactivity. Ara® Cool 1034 XW 90 is suitable for use in anti-corrosion coatings on pre-treated (blasted) steel, marine, HDP and maintenance/repair, general protective and decorative paints. Ara® Cool 1047 W 80 by Huntsman is a modified amine hardener for low temperature cure systems. It can be formulated using a variety of epoxy resins (such as liquid, semi-solid or solid epoxy resins in solution) for high solids, low temperature curing, anti-corrosion coatings for metals. It shows excellent protection properties even on steel substrates. It can also be formulated
using poly-functional epoxy resins, such as Araldite® EPN 1180 X 80, for coatings. It provides good chemical resistance, blush resistance and water resistance. It possesses low VOC systems with good adhesion on substrates with minimal surface profile. Ara® Cool 1047 W 80 is suitable for use in anti-corrosion coatings for minimally prepared steel substrates, marine and maintenance and general-purpose protective applications. It has a shelf life of 24 months. Ara® Cool 3077 by Huntsman Advanced Materials is a highly reactive formulated amine. It is a low temperature curing agent, designed as a SVHC-free multipurpose hardener for coating applications. Also used as a co-accelerator for slow hardeners. It is VOC-free alternative to products containing benzyl alcohol and/or SVHC. Provides excellent reactivity at temperatures as low as 5°C. Ara® Cool 3077 exhibits good surface properties even at low temperature (low blushing). Suitable for use in industrial coatings, anti-corrosion primers and low emission floorings.
