ALBIDUR® PU 5640 by Evonik is a preparation of 40 wt. % silicone particles in polypropyleneglycol-triol (PPG-triol). Acts as a reactive resin modifier. Offers reduced cure shrinkage, improved dirt shedding, preservation of network density and no change in mechanical properties.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>Provides increased tear resistance, increased impact resistance and barrier properties against water & diluted acids.</li> <li>Suitable for water-borne, solvent-borne und solvent-free 2-pack component polyurethane formulations.</li> <li>Applications include top coats and primers.</li> <li>ALBIDUR® PU 5640 is listed in DSL (Domestic Substances List), ECL (Korean Existing Chemicals List), EINECS (European Inventory of Existing Commercial Chemical Substances), TSCA (Toxic Substances Control Act) and IECSC (Chinese Chemical Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances) and NZIOC (New Zealand Inventory of Chemicals).</li></ul>

ALBIDUR® EP 2240 A by Evonik acts as a toughness modifier for rigid and brittle epoxy resin systems. It is 40 % concentrated dispersion of a high-performance elastomer in an epoxy resin. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"> <li> It offers enhanced toughness (fracture energy, fracture toughness, impact resistance). </li> <li> It provides essentially unchanged deflection temperature as compared to unmodified resins. </li> <li> It exhibits surface properties of the cured resin, no significant reduction in hardness, thermal or chemical resistance, ageing and weathering stability. </li> <li> It is used in protective and decorative solvent-free coatings. </li> <li> ALBIDUR® EP 2240 A recommended dosage level is 4-8%. </li> <li> It has a shelf life of 12 months. </li> </ul>

ALBIDUR® 1223

ALBIDUR® 1223 by Evonik is a silicone-free alpha, omega alcoxy terminated aliphatic urethane resin. Acts as a long-term corrosion inhibitor. Designed for use in primer, base coat, and topcoat applications.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>Offers long-term flexibility, excellent adhesion, and resistance to chemicals, UV light & solvents.</li> <li>It shows the highest performance in flexibilizing Silikopon® EF and Silikopon® ED without influencing chemical resistance properties, gloss, or transparency of the cured film.</li> <li>It can be air-dried and can be added in the grinding or let-down stage during processing.</li> <li>Recommended for anti-corrosion paints and coatings, solvent-borne coatings, solvent-free and high solids coating.</li> <li>Used for clear coat, pigmented, direct grind, and 2-pack coatings.</li> <li>Suitable for formulations with very low VOC-content(< 250 g/l or < 100g/l).</li> <li>The recommended dosage ranges from 5-50%.</li> <li>Complies with DSL, TSCA (40 CFR 723), ECL, PICCS, EINECS, and TCSI.</li> <li>The shelf life of ALBIDUR® 1223 is 15 months.</li></ul>
