Bentone® 38 by Elementis is a highly efficient rheological modifier designed for use in low to intermediate polarity organic systems. It is an organic derivative of a hectorite clay.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It increases viscosity, controls sagging on vertical surfaces, and penetration on porous substrates.</li>
<li>It improves flow and leveling, prevents pigment settling during storage and syneresis in thixotropic systems.</li>
<li>It is suitable for aerosol paints, anti-corrosive paints, automotive finishes and primers, coil coating systems, industrial paints, trichloroethylene dip coatings, and wood stains.</li>
<li>It is used in interior and exterior house paints.</li>
<li>Recommended dosage level is 0.2-0.5% for house and industrial paints.</li>

It is an organic derivative of a bentonite clay. It prevents pigment settling during storage and syneresis in thixotropic systems.<br>

<li>It is used for anti-corrosive paints, automotive finishes, coil coating systems, dip coatings and industrial finishes.</li>
<li>Also used in interior and exterior house paints including do-it-yourself paints, paint stripper pastes, printing inks, refinishes for household appliances and road marking paints.</li>
<li>Recommended dosage level is 0.2-0.5% for house and industrial paints, 0.5-1% for primer and 0.2-0.3 for aqueous systems.</li>
<li>Bentone® 34 has a shelf life of 4 years.</li></ul> Bentone® LT by Elementis is organically modified, refined powdered smectite clay-based highly efficient rheological additive for water-borne systems. It imparts high viscosity and thixotropy. It provides thermostable aqueous phase viscosity control and prevents hard settlement of pigments/fillers.<br>

<li>It gives wet edge/open time and improves water retention of plasters and wash and scrub resistance of paints.</li>

<li> It can be incorporated as powder or as an aqueous pre-gel.</li>

<li>It provides outstanding anti-settling performance and enhances the workability and application of high-solid systems. </li>
<li>Additionally, it is highly effective as an emulsion stabilizer, minimizes pigment floating and flooding, and enhances texturing and stippling effects.</li>
<li>It offers thermostable aqueous phase viscosity control, promotes fast water release, and has a high fusion temperature. </li>
<li>Furthermore, it does not adversely affect white firing characteristics.</li>
<li>Recommended dosage level is 0.1-1% by weight.</li>
<li>Bentone® CRS has a shelf life of 4 years.</li></ul> Bentone® 1000 by Elementis is a highly efficient and cost-effective rheological additive designed for use in low to intermediate polarity organic systems. It is organic derivative of bentonite clay. It is easy to use and exhibits consistent rheological properties.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It eliminates need for pregels and the need for chemical activators in conventional solvent-based systems.</li>
<li>It is used in trade sales paints, varnishes, light industrial finishes, asphaltic-based coatings, industrial maintenance and marine coatings.</li>
<li>Recommended dosage level is 0.2-1.0% for most paint application and above 1.0% by weight for systems containing conventional rheological additive.</li>
<li>Bentone® 1000 has a shelf life of 4 years.</li></ul> Bentone® HC by Elementis is cost-effective refined hectorite clay-based rheology modifier. It acts as suspending agent and preventing hard settlement. It is suitable for the thickening and flow control of aqueous systems.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It provides shear-thinning viscosity and stable package rheology over a wide temperature range.</li>
<li>It improves slump or sag resistance and does not retard drying with fast water release.</li>
<li>It is bacteria- and enzyme-resistant.</li>
<li>It can be used to prepare high-concentration dispersions of refined hectorite, which develop full viscosity in the final filled system.</li>
<li>It is also suitable for making concentrated pre-gels of refined hectorite.</li>
<li>Bentone® HC is used in high PVC coatings, paint detackification systems and inks.</li>
<li>The recommended dosage is 0.3-2.0% based on the total formulation.</li>

<li>Bentone® GS has a shelf life of 4 years from the date of manufacture.</li></ul> Bentone® DY by Elementis is a rheological additive designed for waterborne systems primarily interior, decorative latex paints. It is an organically modified and beneficiated smectite clay. It exhibits efficient low-shear thickening and develops stable viscosity without post-thickening. <br>

<li>It imparts high in-can viscosity and reproducible thixotropic flow.</li>
<li>It provides excellent suspension, improves storage stability and reduces phase separation with maintaining open-time.</li>
<li>It is compatible with synthetic resin dispersions, coalescents, non-ionic & anionic wetting agents and all other classes of thickeners.</li>
<li>It is used in emulsion paints, silicate paints and epoxy coatings.</li>
<li>Recommended dosage level is 0.3-1.5%.</li>
<li>Bentone® DY has a shelf life of 4 years.</li></ul> Bentone® OC by Elementis is a cost-effective, untreated hectorite clay-based rheology modifier with a defined particle size. It improves ease of application and surface smoothness, increases sag resistance and softness. It is stable against bacteria and enzymes.<br>
