Bengel® 828 by Elementis is a super dispersible rheological additive for medium to high polarity solvent-based systems such as ketones, esters,
glycol ethers, ether esters, alcohol. It is cost-effective organic derivative of a bentonite clay.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is easy to incorporate, even at less than optimum dispersion conditions.</li>
<li>It exhibits greater manufacturing flexibility & efficiency and increase productivity.</li>
<li>It eliminates need of pregel and polar activator and provides good sag control and pigment suspension.</li>
<li>It performs well in paint systems of polyesters and epoxy as binder and with combination of solvents like PM acetate, n-butanol, MEK, xylene and solvesso type solvents.</li>
<li>For systems with high demand of anti settling, such as zinc rich primer, it works synergistically with M-P-A anti settling additives.</li>
<li>It is used in polyester baking enamel, 2K epoxy marine, heavy duty industrial paint systems.</li>
<li>Recommended dosage is 0.2-2.0% by weight of the system.</li>

It stabilizes the paint and prevents excessive penetration of liquid vehicles into porous substrates. Bengel® 434 is designed for low to medium polarity aliphatic and aromatic coating systems. Bengel® 958 by Elementis is an easy dispersible rheological additive for low to medium polarity binders and solvents. It is cost-effective organic derivative of a bentonite clay. It is easy to incorporate, even at less than optimum dispersion conditions.<br>

It is an organic derivative of a bentonite clay. It is easy to incorporate and can be added dry to the pigment grinding process without chemical activator or the preparation of a pregel.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It provide good mid shear viscosity, good sag control and pigment suspension properties with excellent flow and application.</li>
<li>It eliminates the need for polar or chemical activator with little impact on transparent and gloss.</li>
<li>It exhibits great flexibility in manufacturing process.</li>
<li>It shows consistent batch to batch development of rheological properties.</li>
<li>It is used in protective/ anticorrosive coatings, automotive finishes/ primers, 2K epoxy coatings, inorganic zinc-rich coatings, PU two-pack systems, vinyl paints (high-build) and alkyd coatings/ thermoplastic acrylic coatings.</li>
It is also recommended for wood coatings, coil coatings, industrial baking paints, offset/ gravure printing inks and UV inks.
