BENAQUA® 5000 by Elementis is an easily dispersible rheological additive. It is designed for tile mortars, textured, plasterboard and high-build coatings. It is especially useful in dry systems where water is added prior to use.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It provides high viscosity in low- to medium-shear-rate region, superior sag resistance at low package and improved shear-thinning rheology.</li> <li>It also improves workability and open time and offers excellent suspension and enhanced textured effects.</li> <li>Also used in primers, sealers, dry-fall and textured paints.</li> <li>Recommended usage level is 0.3-2.0% by weight.</li> <li>BENAQUA® 5000 has a shelf life of 4 years.</li></ul>

BENAQUA® 4000

BENAQUA® 4000 by Elementis is an organically modified hectorite-based rheological additive for waterborne systems. It provides high viscosity in low- to medium-shear-rate region, superior sag resistance at low package viscosity and improved shear-thinning rheology.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It has good storage stability at elevated temperature, freeze/thaw stability, enzyme resistance and colorant addition stability.</li> <li>It gives very good suspension, efficient spray atomization, minimized mud cracking, enhanced textured and stippling effects.</li> <li>BENAQUA® 4000 is applied to lower-gloss, matt emulsion paints, textured and high-build coatings, dry-fall paints, plasterboard coatings, primers/sealers, roads marking paints as well as semi-gloss emulsions.</li> <li>The typical use level is 0.3-2.0% by weight.</li> <li>It has a shelf life of 2 years from the date of manufacture.</li></ul>
