Butyl CARBITOL™ Acetate Solvent by Dow is a high boiling, slow evaporating ester solvent and latex coalescent. It exhibits weather resistance, moisture resistance and UV resistance. Provides good balance of volatility, solvency and water solubility. It can be copolymerized with other acrylates. Its mild, nonresidual odor makes it ideal for use in interior latex coatings. It promotes color development and touch-up properties to architectural coatings, particularly in conditions of low temperature and high humidity. Butyl CARBITOL™ Acetate Solvent is used in specialty printing inks, water-based architectural and industrial coatings. Butyl CARBITOL™ Solvent by Dow is a primary solvent and latex coalescent in water-based architectural and industrial coatings. It is GMO-free, slow-evaporating, hydrophilic glycol ether with excellent coalescing and coupling power. It has low viscosity, high dilution ratio, excellent solvency and great chemical stability. <br>
