Desmodur® XP 2617 by Covestro is a NCO-terminated prepolymer based on hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI) and an ether diol. Recommended for flexible, elastic, weather-resistant and solvent-free coatings, paints and ink applications. It has a shelf life of 9 months. Desmodur® N 75 BA by Covestro is an aliphatic polyisocyanate resin based on HDI and dissolved in n-butyl acetate. Used primarily as the hardener component for lightfast two-component polyurethane coatings.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>Provides high resistance to chemicals & weathering, very good gloss retention and outstanding mechanical properties.</li><li>Desmodur® N 75 BA is used in air- and force-drying coatings for automotive and industrial finishing, wood, furniture, plastics & corrosion protection.</li></ul> Desmodur® W by Covestro is PICM, hydrogenated MDI (HMDI or H12MDI), saturated MDI (SMDI), reduced MDI (RMDI), and dicyclohexylmethane diisocyanate.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is used as a reactive building block for the preparation of chemical products, reactive intermediates and polymers in coatings for flooring, roofing, maintenance and textile applications.</li><li>It exhibits high degree of flexibility, good mechanical strength and resistance to abrasion and hydrolysis.</li><li>It offers retention of gloss and physical properties upon weathering.</li><li>It is suitable for use in the manufacture of polyisocyanates and polyurethanes.</li><li>Desmodur® W has a shelf life of 9 months.</li></ul> Desmodur® E-28 by Covestro is a polyisocyanate prepolymer based on diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI). Used as corrosion-resistant primers, as a curing agent for two-component systems, as an outstanding material for moisture-curing one-component formulations and as adhesion primers for solvent-free coating compositions based on polyisocyanates, polyesters, and polyethers. It is highly recommended to prime porous substrates. Offers protection from chemicals, deicing salt and mineral oils and good resistance to alkalis. Desmodur® E-28 can be used for mold releasing in the building and construction industries. Desmodur® BL 3175A by Covestro is a blocked aliphatic polyisocyanate based on HDI and dissolved in aromatic 100. Used in industrial finishing of appliances, coil coating, and can coating, and automotive industry for chip-resistant primer-surfacers and topcoats. Desmodur® BL 3175A possesses high flexibility and hardness. Desmodur® N 3300A by Covestro is a solvent-free, low viscosity polyfunctional aliphatic isocyanate resin based on HDI. Used to formulate both clear and pigmented two-component polyurethane coatings, and for the formulation of high solids coatings. Desmodur® N 3300A provides very good weather resistance, gloss and color retention. Desmodur® N 3400 by Covestro is a low-viscosity, aliphatic polyisocyanate resin based on HDI uretdione.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is used as a reactive thinner or hardener component for aqueous light-fast two-component polyurethane coatings.</li>
<li>It is compatible with esters, ketones and aromatic hydrocarbons such as ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, methoxypropylacetate, acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, methyl isobutyl ketone, cyclohexanone, toluene, xylene, solvent naphtha 100 solvents.</li>
<li>It can be used as a binder for moisture-curing one-component polyurethane coatings.</li>
<li>Desmodur® N 3400 is applicable for paints, coatings and inks.</li></ul> Desmodur® N 75 MPA/X by Covestro is aliphatic polyisocyanate (HDI biuret). It is used as the hardener component for lightfast two-pack polyurethane coatings.<br>

Used in combination with a variety of different polyols to produce two-component coatings. Provides good toughness and elasticity. Suits for high solids or solvent-free systems in application areas such as membranes, deck coatings, pipe coatings, roof coatings or coatings for solvent-sensitive substrates such as polystyrene foam and other plastic materials. Polyisocyanate prepolymer based on MDI. Used in coatings. Produces one-component highly resilient, rubbery-like films. Provides very high abrasion resistance, resistance to acids and alkalies of medium concentration. Can be used as a moisture-cure coating for concrete to help protect the substrate against water, oils, or chemicals. Possesses high degree of flexibility.
