Bayhydur® 302 by Covestro is a solvent-free, water-dispersible polyisocyanate based on hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI). Acts as a crosslinking agent for two-component water-borne polyurethane coatings. Offers good gloss, chemical resistance and good flexibility while maintaining film hardness. Bayhydur® 302 is suitable for industrial finishing, special purpose substrates and wood furniture. It has a shelf life of 6 months. Bayhydur® 3100 by Covestro acts as hardener component for high-quality aqueous two-component polyurethane systems and to improve the property profile of
aqueous coating. It is a solvent-free, hydrophilic aliphatic polyisocyanate based on hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI). Bayhydur® 3100 can be used as crosslinking agent for aqueous polyol binders. It complies with U.S. FDA Title 21 CFR Section 175.105. Bayhydur® ultra 2487/1 by Covestro is a solvent-free, water-dispersible crosslinking agent. It is hydrophilic aliphatic polyisocyanate based on hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI). It is a weather-resistant grade that allows easy mixing and fast curing. Bayhydur® ultra 2487/1 is compatible with organic solvents including esters, ether esters, xylene and solvent naptha 100. It is used for two-component water-borne polyurethane coatings. Bayhydur® ultra 305 by Covestro acts as a hardener/cross-linker. It is hydrophilic aliphatic polyisocyanate based on hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI). It possesses good compatibility with the organic solvents such as esters, ether esters, xylene and solvent naphtha® 100. It allows easy mixing and offers transparent glossy films and weather resistant properties. Bayhydur® ultra 305
is suitable for aqueous two-component polyurethanes coating systems. Bayhydur® BL 5325 by Covestro is a polyurethane dispersion with blocked isocyanate groups. Used in combination with polyols in the formulation of water-thinnable, lightfast, one-pack polyurethane stoving coatings, and as an additive to improve flexibility, impact strength, and adhesion of conventional aqueous stoving systems. Offers high flexibility and hardness, and resistance to sterilisation. The applications of Bayhydur® BL 5325 are on-line automotive coatings (impact-resistant primers, primer surfacers, top coats), high-quality stoving industrial coatings for electrical appliances, small articles and automotive components and can coatings for finishing fine packagings. Hydrophobically modified blocked polyisocyanate. Used in the formulation of one-component polyurethane stoving coatings, glass coatings and industrial coatings. Hydrophilic aliphatic polyisocyanate based on hexamethylene diisocyanate
(HDI). Reactive, blocked aliphatic polyisocyanate. Offers improved hardness, impact strength, chemical resistance and adhesion. Bayhydur® eco 701-90 by Covestro is a low odor, bio-based hardner for waterborne systems. Offers high chemical resistance. It contains 61% biomass content. It can be easily dispersed in the aqueous phase, even at low shear forces such as typically found in trade applications where manual mixing is required. It has good miscibility with both acrylic polyols as well as polyurethane dispersions. It can be used as a crosslinking partner for waterborne polyol binders and as a crosslinker for roughly pH-neutral waterborne polymer dispersions. Bayhydur® eco 7190 is designed for two-component waterborne coatings. It is compatible with organic solvents such as esters or ethers. It has a shelf life of 6 months. Bayhydur® XP 2547 is hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI)-based, hydrophilic aliphatic polyisocyanate by Covestro. Acts as a solvent-free, water-dispersible crosslinking agent for two-component water-borne polyurethane coatings. Exhibits good gloss and chemical resistance. Bayhydur® XP 2547 is suitable for maintenance coatings, especially topcoats for concrete flooring.
