Nipacide® DFX 5 by Clariant is a low VOC, aqueous dispersion dry film fungicide based on carbendazim, diuron and octyl isothiazolinone. It is effective against a wide range of fungal and algal species, responsible for the discoloration and degradation of surface coatings. It is stable over a wide pH range and
temperatures up to 800°C. It is recommended for dry film preservations, coating applications including water based decorative paints, wood stains and colors. Recommended dosage level of Nipacide® DFX 5 is 0.5-2.0%. Nipacide® HF-I by Clariant is an in-can biocide based on chloromethyl and methylisothiazolinone + formaldehyde. It is specifically developed for the complete in-can microbiological protection of industrial water-based products against bacterial and fungal spoilage in the wet state. It can be used over a pH range 4-9 and temperature range up to 40°C. It is used in pigment preparation, waterborne and decorative paints. Recommended dosage level of Nipacide® HF-I is 0.1-0.3%. Nipacide® MBM by Clariant is an in-can preservative biocide. It is used for coating applications including pigment preparation, waterborne and decorative paints. Nipacide® CI 15 HS by Clariant is an in-can biocide based on CMIT/MIT. It is a water-based, low toxicity developed for the complete in-can protection. It is effective against a wide range of microorganisms including gram positive and gram-negative bacteria, yeast and fungi. It is formaldehyde-free and should not be used for products with pH>9 or production temperatures of >40°C. It is used in water based decorative paints and printing inks. Nipacide® CI 15 HS is FDA approved for various applications. The recommended dosage level is 0.1-0.3% Nipacide BIT 20 by Clariant is a formaldehyde-free, in-can biocide based on benzisothiazolinone (BIT). It is an FDA approved, glycol-based solution exhibiting low toxicity. It is effective against a wide range of microorganisms including gram positive & gram-negative bacteria, yeast, and fungi. It can be used over a wide pH and temperature range. It is developed for the complete in-can protection of water-based decorative paints. Recommended usage level of Nipacide BIT 20 is 0.1-0.25%. Nipacide® CFX 3 by Clariant is a low toxicity, in-can biocide based on formaldehyde, chloromethyl and methylisothiazolinone. It is a water-based isothiazolinone/ formaldehyde donor biocide developed for complete head space protection of water-based products. <br>
