DISPERBYK® -2025

DISPERBYK® -2025 by BYK is a structured acrylate copolymer with pigment affinic groups. Acts as a high molecular weight wetting and dispersing agent for solvent-borne systems. It deflocculates pigments and provides steric stabilization. It offers high gloss and improved color strength. It provides a uniform electrical charge to pigment surfaces. It reduces viscosity, improves leveling and high pigment loading. It increases transparency and hiding power of the pigments. It shows an extremely good compatibility with different resin systems. DISPERBYK® -2025 exhibits no impact on curing properties in acid catalyzed and acid curing coatings. It displays no discoloration in baking coatings even at higher temperatures. DISPERBYK® -2025 is used in coil coatings, industrial coatings, wood coatings, automotive coatings and pigment concentrates. Recommended usage level is 5-12% for inorganic pigment, 1.5-2.2% for titanium dioxides, 20-40% for organic pigment and 40-60% for carbon blacks. It has a shelf life of 36 months.

DISPERBYK® -2013

DISPERBYK® -2013 by BYK is a 100% solvent-free, wetting and dispersing additive. It is a styrene maleic anhydride copolymer. Exhibits excellent stabilization in 100% UV systems and in particular organic pigments and carbon black pigments. Shows effective viscosity-reducing effect, reduces thixotropic flow behavior and improves the long-term storage stability. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>Printing inks and coatings formulated with this additive shows superior optical properties, color strength and transparency. </li> <li>Coatings also exhibits increased gloss and reduced haze. </li> <li>Suitable for UV-curable, solvent-borne, solvent-free and aqueous coatings. </li> <li>It is recommended for pigment concentrates, industrial, coil, wood & furniture, marine and protective coatings. </li> <li>Used in food contact printing inks. </li> <li>Recommended dosage for printing inks is 15-25 % for organic pigments & 15-25 % for carbon blacks whereas for coatings is 15-35 % for organic pigments, 2-10 % for inorganic pigments and 20-70 % for carbon blacks. </li> <li>DISPERBYK® -2013 has a shelf life of 36 months. </li> <li>It is REACH compliant.</li></ul>

It is a solution of hydroxyfunctional carboxylic acid ester with pigment affinic groups. d show improved color acceptance when using universal colorants. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is especially developed for solvent-borne architectural coatings to stabilize titanium dioxide, fillers and other inorganic and organic pigments. </li> <li>It offers improved pigment wetting, gloss and levelling.</li> <li>It prevents flooding and floating and reduces viscosity. </li> <li>DISPERBYK® -107 is suitable for the formulation of pigment concentrates based on long oil alkyds. </li> <li>Recommended dosage level is 3-5% for inorganic pigments, 0.7-1.5% for titanium dioxide, 5-8% for organic pigments, and 8-10% for carbon black. </li> <li>It has a shelf life of 60 months.</li></ul>

DISPERBYK® by BYK is a solution of an alkylolammonium salt of a lower molecular weight polycarboxylic acid polymer. Acts as a wetting and dispersing agent for solvent-borne and aqueous systems. Offers improved color acceptance and color development. Prevents hard sedimentation. It does not contain alkyl phenol ethoxylates. Improves the effectiveness of pyrogenic silica. DISPERBYK® is used for emulsion paints, aqueous coatings and solvent-borne systems.

DISPERBYK® -2030

DISPERBYK®-2030 by BYK acts as a high molecular weight wetting and dispersing agent. It is a solution of copolymer with pigment affinic group. It has hydrophobic structure and is suitable for all pigment types. It is designed for all solvent-free, UV-curable printing-, inkjet inks, UV-flexographic and offset inks as well as pigment concentrates.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It improves the optical properties of the system such as optical density, color strength, gloss, haze and transparency.</li><li>It shows outstanding steric stabilization of the pigment and provides long-term stability.</li> <li>It can reduce the viscosity of the pigment concentrates and prevent thixotropy.</li> <li>It generates a uniform electrical charge across the pigment particle, thereby preventing possible co-flocculation of particles that are not equally charged.</li><li>It possesses very small particle size and a narrow particle size distribution due to excellent deflocculation.</li> <li>It can achieve short filtration times and improves water & alcohol resistance of the cured film.</li> <li>It is compatible with all commonly used reactive diluent.</li> <li>DISPERBYK®-2030 can be used for indirect food contact applications.</li> <li> Recommended use level for inkjet inks is 30-90% based on organic pigment, 40-100% based on carbon black pigment and 10-25% for printing inks based on organic pigment and carbon black.</li> <li>It has a shelf life of 18 months.</li></ul>
