AQUAMAT® 208 by BYK is a VOC-free, matting wax dispersion based on oxidized HDPE for aqueous coatings to improve surface properties. <br>

<li>It improves the scratch resistance, creates a soft feel effect, and has a matting effect. </li>
<li>The recommended dosage level of AQUAMAT® 208 is 1% to 4%. </li></ul> Oxidized, high density polyethylene wax dispersion. Offers improved gloss reduction. Provides improved rub-, scratch- and black heel resistance. Possesses soft feel effect. Exhibits improved anti blocking properties. Used for furniture, parquet lacquer, industrial & decorative paints and inks. Modified polyethylene wax dispersion. Possesses improved surface hardness, higher abrasion resistance, better scratch resistance and matting properties. Used in architectural coatings, industrial coatings, leather coatings, wood and furniture coatings. AQUAMAT® 272 by BYK is a dispersion of modified polyethylene wax for aqueous coatings. Acts as a matting agent. Provides improved surface protection. Recommended for use in architectural-, wood & furniture-, industrial coatings and leather finishes. AQUAMAT® 272 increases abrasion resistance and is also suitable printing inks and overprint varnishes. Recommended dosage is 1-6% additive based upon total formulation. Nonionic dispersion based on a modified polyethylene wax. Acts as a flatting aqueous wax dispersion for improving surface properties of waterborne paint systems. Offers improved abrasion resistance and scratch resistance. Provides improved slip and gloss reduction.
