AQUACER 497 by BYK is a non-ionic, PFAS-free aqueous emulsion of paraffin wax. The additive improves water repellency and anti-blocking in aqueous coatings, it also increases surface slip. AQUACER 497 is recommended for architectural & leather coatings, printing inks and overprint varnishes. Recommended dosage is 1-3% for coatings and 2-5% for printing inks. AQUACER® 513 by BYK is a VOC-free, non-ionic aqueous emulsion of an oxidized polyethylene wax (HDPE). It shows improved black heel marking resistance in parquet lacquers. It provides improved scratch resistance in aqueous coating. <br>

It is an APEO-free, non-ionic emulsion based on a PTFE-modified HD polyethylene wax. It improves surface properties and helps to increase the slip. AQUACER® 1550 R is used for aqueous wood and industrial coatings. Its recommended dosage level is 2% to 4% based on the total formulation. It has a shelf life of 15 months. AQUACER® 1075 by BYK is an APEO-free, abrasion resistance agent. It is non-ionic emulsion of HD polyethylene wax. It improves the surface properties and reduces the coefficient of friction. AQUACER® 1075 is used in aqueous printing inks and overprint varnishes. Its recommended dosage level is 2 to 5% based on the total formulation. It has a shelf life of 15 months. AQUACER® 541 by BYK offers improved surface slip, scratch resistance and increased gloss. AQUACER® 541 is an aqueous emulsion of a montan ester wax. It is recommended for aqueous coating systems, can- and leather coatings. The dosage level of the grade is 2-7%. AQUACER® 8517 by BYK can increase surface slip, scratch resistance, abrasion resistance and provides a soft feel effect. It has a hydrophobic effect and improved anti-blocking. It is non-ionic emulsion of a modi?ed low-density polyethylene wax. AQUACER® 8517 is designed for use in architectural coatings, wood & furniture coatings, printing inks, overprint varnishes and leather coatings. The dosage level of the grade is 1.2-5%. Anionic emulsion based on a modified paraffin wax. Offers improved surface slip. Possesses improved anti-blocking and water repellency. Used for furniture- and parquet, industrial- and decorative paints. Nonionic emulsion of a carnauba wax. Offers improved surface slip. Provides better scratch and abrasion resistance. Reduces picking and penetration speed of the fountain solution in offset printing. Improves the uniformity of printing ink acceptance and ink setoff. Increases surface wetting.
