ANTI-TERRA® -203 SG by BYK acts as controlled flocculating wetting and dispersing agent. It is a solution of an alkylammonium salt of a polycarboxylic acid. It significantly increases thixotropy. It is used in primers to prevent fillers and inorganic pigments from settling and to gel bentonites.

It prevents sagging and keeps the pigments from settling as well as flooding and floating.

It is suitable for medium-polar to low-polar solvent-borne and solvent-free coating systems.

It improves the anti-corrosive properties when used in protective coating primers.

It is recommended for coil coatings and protective coating systems.

ANTI-TERRA® -203 SG is also suitable for non-polar systems.

Recommended dosage level of ANTI-TERRA® -203 SG in inorganic pigments 1-2%, titanium dioxide/fillers 0.5-1% and bentonites 30-50%.

It complies with EINECS, TSCA, DSL, AIIC, IECSC, ENCS, NZIoC, and ECSI.

It has a shelf life of 60 months.

Solution of an alkyl ammonium salt of a polycarboxylic acid. Acts as a high molecular weight dispersing and wetting agent for solvent-borne coating systems. Increases thixotropy. Reduces the sagging tendency. Exhibits no negative influence on the water sensitivity of the paint film. Used for medium to low polar solvent-borne and solvent-free coating systems, general industrial, architectural and protective coatings. Also used as anti-corrosion primers, thereby enhancing the protective properties. Solution of an alkylolammonium salt of a high molecular weight acidic polymer. Acts as a controlled flocculating wetting and dispersing agent for aqueous systems. Provides an increase in thixotropy and prevents hard settling of pigments. Exhibits a minor gloss reduction due to controlled flocculation mechanism. Controlled flocculation of pigments prevents flooding and floating, settling and sagging of pigments. Results in the formation of 'bridges' between single pigment particles causing three-dimensional structures to develop. Used in architectural coatings, industrial coatings, protective coatings and automotive OEM coatings. Solvent-free salt of unsaturated polyamine amides and lower molecular weight acidic polyesters. Acts as a high molecular weight dispersing and wetting agent for solvent-borne and solvent-free coating systems. Effective for wetting and dispersing colored pigments, both organic and inorganic. Exhibits no adverse effect on the pot-life of two-component systems or on the dry time of oxidative cure binders. Used for architectural and industrial coatings. Also be used as a wetting and suspending additive in water soluble coatings. Solution of a carboxylic acid salt of polyamine amides. Acts as a high molecular weight wetting and dispersing agent for solvent-borne coating systems. Offers improved pigment wetting. Reduces the sagging tendency. Exhibits no negative influence on the water sensitivity of the paint film. Shows compatibility with white spirits. Low polarity of the product increases its thixotropy. May cause discoloration in paints based on nitrocellulose or PVC-copolymers. Used in general industrial coatings, architectural coatings, wood and furniture coatings, protective coatings. Also used as anti-corrosive primers, thereby enhancing the protective properties. Solution of an alkyl ammonium salt of a polycarboxylic acid. Acts as a high molecular weight dispersing and wetting agent for solvent-borne coating systems. Prevents flooding and floating and settling of the pigments. Prevents the settling of silica based flatting agents, in acid-curing and nitrocellulose paints. Shows incompatibility with zinc dust, due to its low water content. Used in general industrial coatings, architectural coatings, protective coatings. Mainly used in anti-corrosion and marine paints based on alkyds, cyclo- and chlorinated rubber, and bituminous derivatives. Also used in shop primers and water re-ducible systems. ANTI-TERRA® -U 80 is a high solids solution of a salt of unsaturated polyamine amides and lower molecular weight acidic polyesters. It deflocculates pigments through steric stabilization. Increaes the transparency and hiding power and reduces viscosity. Provides high gloss levels and improved color strength. Improves leveling and higher pigment loading. Used for architectural, industrial and solvent-free, high solids or amine-neutralized aqueous systems. ANTI-TERRA® -U 80 by Byk (Altana Group) is a food contact approved grade, complies with REACH and has a shelf life of 42 months. ANTI-TERRA® -P by BYK is a solution of a phosphoric acid salt of long-chain carboxylic acid polyamine amides. Offers improved pigment wetting. Reduces the time required for the dispersion process and stabilization of the pigment dispersion.
