Rheovis® HS 1169 MB

Rheovis® HS 1169 MB by BASF is a rheology modifier. It is highly efficient, hydrophobically modified acrylic thickener (HASE). Delivers increased KU-viscosity, reduced sagging and extended open time. It allows partial substitution of cellulosics.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li> It is pre-neutralized to pH 5, helping to prevent pH shock when increasing the pH.</li> <li>It is a certified biomass-balanced additive.</li> <li>Enables low-emission formulations, high-quality finishes and consistent application properties without reformulation.</li> <li>It reduces carbon footprint while delivering the same high level of performance.</li> <li> Rheovis® HS 1169 MB is recommended for aqueous paint and coating systems.</li> <li> It is suited for interior & exterior paints, elastomeric coatings, textured finishes, interior architectural coatings and wood coatings for brush and spray applications.</li> <li> A dosage level of 0.3-2% is recommended.</li></ul>

Rheovis® PU 1333 MB

Rheovis® PU 1333 MB by BASF is a rheology modifier. It is highly efficient high-shear polyurethane thickener. It has outstanding newtonian rheology profile with minimum effect on low- and mid-shear viscosity for aqueous formulations. It is a low-odor, low-VOC, tin- and solvent free grade. It prevents syneresis and improves color acceptance with rub-out properties. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"> <li>Offers improved flow and leveling especially in advanced technologies like high-solids paints.</li> <li> It has no impact on wet scrub resistance, reduced spatter and improved hiding power.</li> <li> Its low viscosity facilitates easy handling and incorporation, including post-addition.</li> <li> It can be combined with other thickeners for more sag resistance and can be broadly utilized with all kinds of binder types.</li> <li>It is a certified biomass-balanced additive.</li> <li>Enables low-emission formulations, high-quality finishes and consistent application properties without reformulation.</li> <li>It reduces carbon footprint while delivering the same high level of performance.</li> <li>It can be used in a wide range of architectural coating, furniture, flooring and industrial coating formulations.</li> <li>Rheovis® PU 1333 MB is especially suitable for high-solids paints, low pigmented or small-particle-size coatings (e.g. wood coatings), anti-corrosion paints and thick layer systems.</li> <li>Recommended dosage level is 1-4% on total formulation.</li></ul>
